Dalton Cooper has been an attorney with the Law Offices of John W. Harte since 2022. Dalton firmly believes in “telling it like it is” and strives to create an open and honest line of communication with his clients about their case. Dalton is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts and primarily focuses his practice on personal injury, family, and criminal defense law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dalton clerked with the firm for several years while attending law school.

Dalton earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2022. Dalton is currently an active member of the South Carolina Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Family Law Section of the South Carolina Bar.

Dalton lives in Augusta, Georgia, with his high school sweetheart, Katie, and their two young children, Charlotte and William. Outside of the office, Dalton enjoys spending time outdoors, usually either on the beach or the golf course. Dalton is also an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Augusta, Georgia, where he has served as a Ruling Elder, Chair of the Building and Grounds committee, and a Sunday School teacher.
